All Yoga schools are not alike

Shopping around to see which program is best for you is important. Anyone can tell you anything over the phone or write anything on a website. You must go in and try the class for yourself.  Some points to remember:

  • The first class should be free of charge.
  • Ask, "Is there an experienced, Full-time, head teacher who runs the majority of the classes?"  A school run by a mostly part-time staff cannot effectively teach their students.
  • Do the Yoga schools you're looking into specialize in a particular style?  Clarity and focus is important in building a strong Yoga practice.
  • Do they offer Quiet Yoga?  Most people who want to develop a yoga practice are looking for calm, clarity, and concentration...which can be achieved by practicing Quiet Yoga.

If you live in the metropolitan Detroit or Ann Arbor area, we invite you to experience our program and judge the quality of the instruction for yourself.
