Tortoise Pose

Pose Type: seated, forward fold,

  • Begin seated
  • Separate legs and bend knees
  • Fold Forward between legs
  • Slide arms under legs so that the back of the thighs press against the top of the arms at the shoulders
  • As chest move forward toward the floor work to straighten the legs
  • Note: Be careful not to strain the elbows by hyper extending them.
