Meet the Teacher
Jason D. Schramm

Jason began teaching Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga full time in the fall of 2000 and his school in Royal Oak opened in 2003.
In addition to practicing Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and seated meditation, he has also trained in various forms of Martial Arts including Tai Chi and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
All of these practices combined have greatly enhanced Jason’s ability to be calm and focused as well as patient and resilient during difficult times, which is what he tries to impart to his students in their training, so that they are acquiring far more than just strength and flexibility from their yoga practice.
It is easy to appear calm and peaceful while on your yoga mat or meditation cushion, but how do you do in everyday life when things don’t go your way? Jason works to create in the classroom, sometimes a little and sometimes a lot, of “things not going your way”, so that you the student, are better able to train mentally for the trials of daily life.
If this sounds like something you would benefit from, start today by registering for your first class.
